The Qur'an

Qur'anic text shown in the Kalam app is reproduced as-is from the mushaf and is not subject to any proprietary claim by Kalam. Accompanying translations, where shown, are attributed to their original translators and publishers.

Hadith

Hadith and hadith qudsi shown in the app are drawn from established, recognized collections (such as Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and others), with the source book and number cited where available. The Kalam team makes reasonable efforts to verify authenticity; corrections can be reported to us at any time.

Audio Recitations

Recitation audio is used under permission or licenses made available for public use by the original reciters or publishers, and each recording is attributed to its reciter.

Original Kalam Content

Articles, reflections (tadabbur), and daily nuggets written or curated by the Kalam team are original content. All rights reserved © 2026 Kalam, unless otherwise noted.

Open-Source Software & Fonts

The app uses a number of open-source libraries and fonts, each retaining its own license and copyright (e.g. MIT, Apache 2.0). A full attribution list is available in the app's settings.
